Mont Blanc (4,810m) 4 days
Climb Montblanc (4,810m) with previous acclimatization at one of Chamonix peaks
BOOK NOWOverview
Mont Blanc, also known as Montblanc, reigns as the tallest peak in the Alps, towering at 4,810 meters. This elevation not only secures its status as the apex of the European Union but also places it among the loftiest summits in Europe, surpassed by only a few mountains in Russia and Georgia. Ascending Mont Blanc via the Goûter refuge or the 4000's route is a cherished goal for many mountaineers. While the climb doesn't demand advanced technical skills (no actual climbing is involved), maintaining strong physical fitness is advantageous due to the significant altitude gain during the journey. Adequate acclimatization in the days leading up to the ascent is equally crucial. Our 4-Day Mont Blanc program spans four days and is guided by a certified expert. It's thoughtfully designed to facilitate proper acclimatization while honing the essential techniques for Mont Blanc. During the preparatory phase, we engage in activities mirroring the technical demands of Mont Blanc in a condensed form. This day provide a chance to acclimate to high-altitude conditions and progressively refine our skills.

FAQs
If I come on my own, can I be part of a group?
Absolutely! A significant number of our participants come solo, and we often place them in groups, typically consisting of 2 or 4 individuals. If you're coming on your own, we suggest opting for one of the 2 or 4-person options, as they are more cost-effective, and we can always find a spot for you within one of the groups comprising other solo participants.
What is your cancellation policy for Mont Blanc?
If you book your trip more than 30 days in advance, you will have a 48-hour span after booking to cancel the trip and receive a full refund without any deductions.
After that period of time, you will have the possibility to cancel the Tour in accordance with the following indemnity scheme (refunded or to be paid depending on whether the payment was made and received):
- 100% refunded (or 0% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing by email to Kookoo Climb up to 60 days before the first day of the Tour (minus 5% of the amount paid at booking as an administration fee, and the eventual non-reimbursable expenses the company paid to organize the Tour);
- 75% refunded (or 25% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing by email to Kookoo Climb between 59 and 30 days before the first day of the Tour (minus 5% of the amount paid at booking as an administration fee, and the eventual non-reimbursable expenses the company paid to organize the Tour);
- 50% refunded (or 50% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing by email to Kookoo Climb between 29 and 21 days before the first day of the Tour (minus 5% of the amount paid at booking as an administration fee, and the eventual non-reimbursable expenses the company paid to organize the Tour);
- 0% refunded (or 100% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing by email to Kookoo Climb less than 21 days before the first day of the Tour.
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, Kookoo Climb will:
a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), the cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client). Under exceptional circumstances, the company could, however, decide at his sole discretion to refund the client (minus the transaction fee).
If during the program it becomes necessary to hire a taxi service to avoid a stage or part of it, this will be considered an extra payment to be divided among all participants. This may be due to weather conditions on the day of the activity, or an earlier circumstance such as a storm, snow, or natural disaster that has altered the terrain, making it impractical on the scheduled day. Any additional costs arising from these changes, if they exceed the original price, will be covered by the participants.
Do I need previous experience in climbing or mountaineering to do the climb?
While ascending Mont Blanc does not involve technical climbing, as it's primarily a trekking ascent, participants are required to possess prior hiking experience. This may include previous hikes in the Pyrenees, the Scottish Munros, or equivalent endeavors. Although not mandatory, some familiarity with winter climbing is advisable.
