BOOK NOW
Overview
IMPORTANT: Participants must have prior experience using crampons and walking with an ice axe to join this program. Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps, with a height of 4,810 meters. It is the highest point in the European Union and one of the highest in the rest of Europe, surpassed only by several mountains in Russia and Georgia. The ascent to Mont Blanc through the Goûter refuge or the route of the 4000's, is in the bucket list of many mountaineers. It does not present great technical difficulties, but having a good physical condition is is highly recommended , since these are days with a lot of positive gain, and also, it is necessary to have done a good acclimatization the previous days if possible and you need to have some experience using crampons and ice axe touring. The ascent to Mont Blanc Express in 3 days with one of our certified guides, is designed to reach the summit in a reduced time with a cheaper price than the 5 days program. It is a good option if you want to acclimatize on your part and make the ascent with a guide. The 3-day ascent allows you to summit the mountain in a reduced time, and if we don't have the option of attempting the summit on the second day for whatever reason (altitude sickness, fatigue, weather...), there would be another opportunity to attempt summit on the third day. If you are interested in climbing Mont Blanc with acclimatization, we have our 5-day program, with previous activities that will help us acclimatize and improve our technique.

The Chamonix valley, a paradise for mountain lovers
Montblanc is one of the most desired mountains in the world for various reasons and especially for its accessibility and proximity to towns such as Chamonix, Geneva or Courmayer. The ascent is possible in 2 or 3 days for those who have little time and wish to combine the ascent with other activities in the valley. The variety of sports and activities in Chamonix is immense and a week or two can go a long way if, in addition to Montblanc, we plan other goals, such as one of the multiple alpine ridges, climbing, paragliding, hikes or the Montblanc Tour.
Climbing / Alpine experience needed
Mont Blanc is not very difficult technically, but you need to have a good level of cardio and be able to hike an altitude of 1000m a day. the 3-day program is for those who already have some experience using crampons and touring axe. If that's not your case, we'd need you to do an extra day for training or join our 5-day program which include 2 days for training / acclimatization. After booking your trip with Kookoo Climb, we will send you by email a workout plan to prepare you in the weeks before the climb and a kit list with everything you need for the 5 days of activity

FAQs
What if I come on my own withouy a partner?
If you're joining on your own, the climb will be run on a 1:1 basis, as we do not combine participants who do not already know each other. This policy helps avoid potential issues during the ascent.
For example, if one participant does not have the required fitness, technical ability, or experience to continue safely, it may affect the entire team depending on where you are on the mountain. In some cases, a participant who is not adequately prepared may need to remain at Tête Rousse while the guide and the other participant continue their summit attempt.
If you would prefer to join other participants, we recommend our 5-Day Mont Blanc Program. This itinerary includes two additional days of preparation and acclimatization, and for this program we do combine participants who have not previously met.

What's your cancellation policy?
At KooKoo Climb, we strongly recommend that all participants take out comprehensive cancellation insurance. This protects you in case you need to cancel your trip, encounter flight delays that affect your arrival, or face any other unexpected issues that prevent you from joining the program.
Voluntary Cancellations by the Client
You may cancel your reservation under the following refund conditions. All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to KooKoo Climb:
90% Refund – If cancellation is notified 90 days or more before the start of the program.
Please note: if you paid a 10% deposit, this portion is non-refundable.
50% Refund – If cancellation is notified between 89 and 60 days before the start of the program.
0% Refund – If cancellation is notified 59 days or less before the program start date.
Refunds will be issued based on payments already made and received. If no payment has been made yet, the above percentages represent the amount still owed by the client.
Cancellations Due to Weather or Conditions
If the guide determines that weather or mountain conditions make it unsafe to attempt Mont Blanc, or one or all participants aren't prepared enough to climb Mont Blanc, KooKoo Climb will offer one of the following alternatives:
a) A similar activity in a nearby location with safer conditions. This may include ascents such as Gran Paradiso, Monte Rosa, Aiguille du Tour, Arête des Cosmiques, or Entreves, among others.
b) The possibility to postpone the activity to a later date.
c) Cancellation of the activity. If we decide to cancel the trip due to the climb being considered unfeasible for safety reasons, the agency will retain 10% for management and administrative costs.
If the client chooses to decline Option (a), the standard cancellation policy above will still apply.
Please note that only the guide can decide to cancel a climb due to weather or conditions. Under exceptional circumstances, KooKoo Climb may choose, at its sole discretion, to issue a partial or full refund (minus transaction fees).
Unforeseen Changes During the Program
In the event that a taxi or transport service is required during the program—due to weather, storms, snow, natural disasters, or route alterations—this cost will be considered an additional expense to be shared among all participants.
Any unforeseen additional costs incurred due to changes in itinerary or conditions will be covered by the participants, if they exceed the original program price.
By confirming your booking, you agree to obtain insurance that includes coverage for accidents in high-altitude mountain environments, as well as repatriation in case of emergency. You may be asked to provide proof of insurance prior to the start of the program.
Do I need previous experience in climbing or mountaineering to do the climb?
IMPORTANT: Participants must have prior experience using crampons and walking with an ice axe to join this program.
While ascending Mont Blanc does not involve technical climbing, as it's primarily a trekking ascent, participants are required to possess prior hiking experience. This may include previous hikes in the Pyrenees, the Scottish Munros, or equivalent endeavors. Although not mandatory, some familiarity with winter climbing is advisable.
If you don't have experience, we recommend that you join our 5-day program that includes 2 days for preparation and acclimatization.
